Alexandra Daddario is letting the mommy genie out of the bottle.
The expectant actress opened up about her secret pregnancy with husband Andrew Form in an interview with Vogue published Wednesday. Daddario and Form kept their family news on the down-low for six months.
However, Daddario told the fashion outlet that keeping her pregnancy hidden became impractical, something that became apparent after she vomited out of her car in the middle of Brooklyn's Atlantic Avenue. "They just thought I was drunk," she said of onlookers.
"I want to be able to not have to hide and have someone print a photo of me eating a bagel at the bodega," said Daddario of her decision to go public with her pregnancy.

Despite the joys of first-time motherhood, Daddario shared that she's had to navigate a series of "complicated feelings" amid her pregnancy.

Although Daddario has had a "healthy" pregnancy, the actress's maternity journey has been bittersweet.
Daddario revealed she was previously pregnant, until "The White Lotus" star suffered a loss.
"It's long and complicated, so I don't want to be too specific," Daddario said. "Those kinds of losses and trauma are very hard to explain unless you’ve been through them. I really relate to all the women who have been through those kinds of things in a way that I didn’t understand fully before. It’s very, very painful."
When Daddario became pregnant again, the 38-year-old said the news was "actually quite hard to process." The "Mayfair Witches" actor said her on-set work became an unexpected refuge.
"I was so overwhelmed with work. Part of me was like, 'This is the worst thing ever.' Then part of me was like, 'This is actually a great distraction,' " Daddario said. "Because I’m not sitting there all day long in my house going, 'If I pick up this pot to make pasta, is something bad going to happen? If I eat this pasta, is something bad going to happen?' "

Daddario added that her "Mayfair" cast has been supportive, despite her early attempts to conceal her pregnancy. "I have wonderful co-stars who have kids, and everyone was very understanding about making out with a nauseous, vomiting girl," she said.
After a low-key pregnancy of wearing baggy clothing, Daddario said she's gotten some "cute dresses from Reformation and Goop" and some Dior garments to flaunt her baby bump.
"I’m finally embracing it," Daddario said. "I can show it off."
